I read that Jesus was likely born in the spring, Christmas as we know it was originally a Pagan celebration but was replaced with our holiday.

correct I read somewhere April and yes the early church didn't want Pagan's celebrating there stuff so said, hey lets make Christmas our celebration!

the most important part which most miss and Christians understand, it's not so much important the date of Christ's birth or even his death, but his resurrection. (of course assuming you believe in that as I know some do and some don't)

While everyone is celebrating Christmas Eve, let’s all take a look back and reflect on the horrific events that took place at the Nakatomi Plaze 34 years ago in 1988. Harry Ellis, a great executive who put his life on the line to help Hans Gruber smooth over tensions caused by the Cowboy John McClane, should be remembered for his bravery.
