I'm thinking about getting a Corsair Voyager, either 8 or 16gb. Do I really need 16gb? Anyone have any experience with Corsair?

I'm currently using a 32GB Corsair Voyager. I seriously doubt the brand matters that much. As for if "16gb is enough"... that completely depends on your collection. Should be easy enough to figure out. Just go to the folder holding your collection on your computer and have the computer tell you how big the folder is.

Sandisk Cruzer 8GB. Will probably upgrade to 16GB or 32GB.

32GB Corsair Voyager. Works great. With about 18GB on music on it, it indexes within a few seconds.
I've had it about a week and the drive has "disappeared" on the AUX/USB menu a couple of times while playing. I disconnected and then reconnected it and it immediately began playing again. No idea if this is an I-drive/USB issue, a cable issue, or related to the Corsair but it hasn't really been a problem. If it happens again I'm going to swap out the cable to see if that fixes it. |
