Hello everyone,

Would be interested in flashing my DME with the original PPK from bmw via the MHD app. I’ve got a late 2012 e92 335i (so the new DME). The official way (buy activation code + buy FSC from activation code + flash it) seems quite expensive compared to MHD license + MHD wifi adaptor (~ 280 bucks). I mainly want to get rid of rough throttle lag, idle and rpm surging + have nice burbles while maintaining daily driveability ! (My car is completely stock, maybe get chargepipe?)


Does anyone know if this is possible?


If so, I would also need the 9e60b bin file. Anyone knows how/where to get this?

You can use the MHD app to make a back up bin of your stock DME (what I did), or you can download it from MHD,s github site:

https://github.com/dmacpro91/BMW-XDFs/tree/master/N55E

I haven't done ppk, but if you go that route I don't believe the bin file will be 9e60b. Perhaps somebody can chime in if/what there is a ppk bin for the newer DME?

Hi, so I maybe I was confused but user TunafishE93 pointed out in post #16 here https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...php?p=30446110 to the possibility of starting a new thread for sharing the bin files for the PPK for the updated DME (post 04/2012) as it was done with the older DME (same thread as before).
