I don't think there's a major difference. All I know is Genuine BMW oil filters that you'd get at your local BMW dealership are made by Mann,
So, Mann is the OE oil filter for BMWs and many other german brands. |

Yeah... I’ve bought a few cabin filters and am fairly certain they’re the exact same filter. One was Mahle, one was Corteco, but they were identical in every way.
