Question regarding PCV Recall
Hey folks, I did the PCV recall repair at the Dealership in March 2023. Over the past month I’ve got all the PCV symptoms again - howling/whistling, excess oil, smoke, etc.
My question is, does BMW warranty their work on recalls? I imagine they would but haven’t been able to get through on the recall phone line as of yet and the actual dealership doesn’t have an answer

I got this recall call done. The 22-119v recall doesn't do anything except install an inline fuse. I believe previous recalls replaced the PCV heater component under the intake manifold, also had that done. Never heard of a recall for the actual PCV bubble.
Is this a recent letter? Is your particular car SULEV? I only got one describing the PCV heater and fuse installation. Replaced PCV components myself, old was pretty clogged after 130k miles. |
