Need help diagnosing possible boost leak!
I currently have a 2011 e92 335i with n55 engine. I’ve ran into some issues recently with Codes 28A0 and 2820. I was running FBO mhd stage 2+ when I started have rough idle and couple of misfires. I flashed back to stock and car started to run better but some of the codes stayed. I brought it to an Indy shop and they said there was a boost leak at the turbo inlet pipe, so I upgraded and installed to a VRSF inlet pipe.
Car seems to run fine but it’s been a while since I drove it stock so idk if it’s just my brain telling me. Codes are still showing even after the new inlet. I’ve even tried an adaptation procedure because I saw online it could help with the code. Nothing worked. I ran a log and these are the (boost, boost target, MAF, and MAF REQ). These seemed the most off to me but idk much about reading logs. Idk what other boost leaks it could be as shop tested for boost leaks and they’ve told me only the turbo inlet seemed to fail. if anyone could help find the cause to my issue it would be greatly appreciated |
