DSC coding - disable 'hill assist'
I got an auto 335i and it's difficult to park because of the silly hill hold feature. It holds the brakes until I give it throttle then it lurches forwards or backwards.
On a previous 325i I owned, I had the same issue and I disabled it by setting AFH_DOA to nicht_aktiv in the DSC module. On this 335i (3/07 build) there is no such option in the .TRC file from the DSC module. The only options containing AFH are Code:
C0A_HSA_AFH_AFU wert_01 Code:
C0B_AFH_HSA wert_01 |

Not getting much help here, are there any experts who know the DSC module? The parameters look nothing like the DSC in both of the 2006 E90s I've coded. Not only is the AFH_DOA option not present in the TRC file, but there's no SST option for the soft stop feature either. It's a 3/07 build date E93, ZB for the DSC is 6776067. I've coded a lot of modules and even replaced a FRM, but have zero experience performing any firmware updates on modules. Anyone know if there's a newer version for this DSC and have a link to an easy tutorial how to program it?
