E91 N47 Low Oil Pressure When Engine Is Warm Problem
Hi, i have a E91 320D 2008 model (N47D20A Engine) and i have recently starting to have some kind of problem with low oil pressure warning.
This is happening only when engine is warm and after some more heavy drive for instance when driving on highway and i'm breaking and car is moving a little bit at idle, the low oil pressure signal is popping up for about 2-3 seconds for then to go away. However if i stand completely still at idle i have no warnings and even with revving it up a little bit and letting the throttle go i don't have any warning at all, even when the engine is warm. This only happens when engine is warm and i'm breaking and then letting the throttle go and the car is moving without throttle No weird sounds from engine, no fault codes logged when trying to check with bimmerlink. Oil pressure sensor is replaced and the car worked excellent for about 3 weeks then problems started happening again. Oil and filter was replaced about 8000km ago with 5w-30 BMW LL-04 spec. I have ordered new oil filter and new oil but this time i went for 5w-40 BMW LL-04 Spec Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 C3 oil. Is someone know what i could do to get this warning and problem go away? Or what i can troubleshoot to find this problem. Thanks in advance! |
