Error 106 when trying to update CIC
Hi there, I´m trying to update my CIC to C1A version but I´m getting this error :
What I´ve tried: - Import SP Daten using BMW Coding Tool (Select Sp-Source->Update Sp- Daten->Update WINKFP); - Checked if Files were in Ediabas\ecu folder ->ok. I´m trying to do the update through Icom Next and Icom B (Both connected OBD and MOST Connector), on Icom B both leds are green (System/MOST). I´ve used Easy Connect with the following options: Type:REMOTE IP: My Icom IP shown on Itoolradar MODE:MOST_ASYNC choosed ICOM Lock and clicked on check (NO errors were shown during the process). I have no idea why I´m getting this error, any help is greatly apprecciated. Edit: Managed to solve the error, issue was my ULF Module was not working properly, resulting in a faulty MOST ring break, after disconnecting it and bridging it with a MOST Loop I was able to proceed. So I managed to complete the first step (CI63F1)of upgrading my CIC Headunit Part of the procedure can be seen here: and after successfull upgrade: After that I´ve tried to proceed to the next step the (CI62F1) but I keep getting this error: I´ve been searching but couldn´t find solution for my issue, as always any help is greatly apprecciated. Thank You. Edit:Solved by manually choosing it, CIC updated successfull to C1A. Last edited by brlight; 05-11-2024 at 12:29 PM.. Reason: Solved |
