Exclamation OVERBOOST and Throttle closures / N55 335i

Hey guys, i keep having issues with overboost and throttle closures since i bought car. No matter if i am on stock map or ots map from MHD. In this link you wil find two graphs, from stock and stage 2+ run.

https://datazap.me/u/kubusher/overbo...=0&data=4-5-18

Codes i get in last weeks
2C90 - Blow-off valve: Clamped closed
2D0D - Charging pressure control, plausibility Pressure too high
2D11 - Charging pressure control, Switch-off as consequential reaction

Code 2C90 comes randomly, i deleted it already multiple times. Other two codes comes up when doing wot at 6th gear. I already changed boost solenoid and checked vacuum lines, they seems to be ok. Any ideas what it can be ?

Thanks for info

it's the tune. your WGDC isn't decreasing as you overboost.

my way of getting around this was to not use MHD's tune.

You can also set the flash settings for 3.5bar sensor. The DME will average the values between mani and charge pipe.

I see this log is in 6th gear? Most people don't have this problem on OTS 2+, bit I've also haven't looked at any 6th gear logs before. Can you run a 3rd gear log from 2500 - 3000 ish up to redline and see what that looks like? The MHD OTS tunes generally underboost vs. target from logs I've seen, so I'm not convinced there isn't a hardware issue here.

As Anjuna pointed out, 65% wgdc when you're over boosting like that makes no sense and I have no explanation for that.

I'm currently running MHD OTS ver 1.60 stage 2+ 93 Oct, but I'm 9e60b, so still a different tune file (SHOULD be the same, but...). I don't over boost at all.

Hey dude, thanks for your reply. I was thinking the same, but i have same problem with stock map ( stage 0 ).

This is link for 2nd - 3rd pull. You can see throttle closures as well on stock map, thats why i think its hw related.

Hey man, sorry. I flashed back 1.60 Stage 2+ and made fresh logs. There are 3 of them in this link. I have problem with overboost twice, one log is ok.

I think it is HW related issue as i keep having it on stock map as well. I get those 2C90 codes for diverter valve. Maybe its closed ?

do you have an aftermarket diverter valve or gfb dv + installed into your stock dv valve? these tend to cause a 2c90 error. if you still have a stock dv valve, you might need to replace it.

might want to replace it with a new one and make sure its wiring is connected. it's hard to tell the dv with gfb vd+ installed from the stock one, btw, especially if that's a knockoff.

That can happen as ambient conditions change. Cooler ambient air is denser and the turbo doesn't need to work as hard to meet boost target. Also, the cooler denser air doesn't need as high of a boost target to hit the load% target, which is what the DME is basing everything off of.

The stock map is known to have plenty of throttle closures. So even though I suspect a hardware issue, throttle closures on the stock tune doesn't necessarily indicate a problem.

Thanks man I just changed bov and still experiencing issue. I checked logs from my recent link and i found that its always overboosting when going from 2500rpm ( wot ) when i went from 3500rpm it was without overboost as can be seen on log. Strange
