30D differential + M3 suspension + subframe
Hi guys!
I will start my 2JZ E92 build very soon, and need some info regarding combinations and parts. The plan is to keep the car as stock looking as possible. The car is a 325i from the factory. I will be using a 30D 6speed transmission, with its 30D differential. In my country, it is not legal to run coilovers. So I have to go with a "stock" suspension. I have heard that the M3 suspension is a huge upgrade already, so I would like to go that route if possible. Now I have already figured out that the F30 M3 brakes will fit with sight modifications, And I guess, that the front 25i suspension bits and pieces can be changed to E92 M3 with no big issues. Now the question is about the rear. Is there a difference between the diesel and gas subframes? (In terms of chassis and suspension mounting points) Because I have to fit the 30D differential. Is it possible, to fit E92 M3 suspension parts (shocks, controlarms, traililng arms etc.) to the 30D subframe? After that, do I have to roll the fenders? Thank you in advance.
