Alright this is how it happened...

I'm driving on the freeway and my light for the coolant showed it was low. Then the light turned red and the car stopped in the middle of the freeway ( no leak, nothing! The coolant was just low. So I filled her up with some coolant and it seemed to be ok. Later, next day driving it, I noticed how my car seemed a tad slow, didn't pick up as quick as it usually does. And next thing you know, that low coolant light came on, turned red, and this time white smoke came out of the hood and it leaked all over the street! I mean a lot!! And it was brown colored! (

What's going on with my coolant!? Is it a blown head gasket? What is the cause of the problem? Anyone know?

Thanks!

Sounds similar to my situation, just that my coolant was luckily blue.

If you can, please update us on the price for a head gasket job.

To be honest with you, it happened so long ago I don’t remember the price; actually sold the car, didn’t want to deal with the issues loll. My apologies brother
