Hey everyone - new to this forum. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a 07 328xi that I picked up. Cranks over, but will not start. Was able to get ISTA+ installed and connected. The car shows quite a few codes, but the one that I’m trying to troubleshoot is S0098 - no communication possible with Electronic fuel pump control module.

I have checked power and ground to the EKPS module and looks good. I am having a tough time diagnosing the CAN BUS and started going towards DME but then thought that since ISTA is seeing other modules maybe it’s something else.

Any advice or a place to start would be helpful.
