2008 328xi with a bunch of mods. Slowly turning it into more of a track car, so I decided to ditch the heavy sunroof. It sat over the winter but I charged the battery and it cranked right up this morning. Pulled it out of the garage and removed the headliner, side curtain airbags, and sunroof cassette, then replaced it with a fiberglass plug from Condor Speed Shop. I saw that rain was coming, so I decided to pull it back into the garage.
But nope, it won't start. It turns over freely and quickly, just refuses to start. It had been kinda low on gas so I grabbed a gas can and poured two gallons of fresh gas in it, then cranked it for a while. Nothing. I'm kinda stumped here. Do I need to code the airbags out or something before it will start? I didn't mess with any other wiring or systems. And it started right up before I removed the sunroof. By the way, if anyone wants a cheap track car, let me know lol. I'm done with this thing.
