OEM Angel Eyes Modification

I am just wondering to the masses, if I were to open my adaptive xenon headlights and where the actual angel eye ring tubing is, can it not be covered | wrapped with aluminum tin foil.

The reason for doing this is in order to allow light to further illuminate the outer rings since the aluminum tin foil is not dispersing the light but more so bouncing it around via the aluminum tin foil to an exit point which in this case would be the outer rings?
