LCI to Pre-LCI?

I know people love to go from Pre-LCI to LCI, but has anyone gone the other way around? I'm aware that when yoy go from Pre-LCI to LCI, that you have to code the code to tell it that it now has LED taillights and rear turn signals instead of halogens, but if I go the other way to halogens, do I have to? I'm slowly working on trying to make LCI to Pre-LCI a reality, as I generally dislike how the LCI looks with the exception of the hood and bumper. So far I have Pre-LCI headlights and mirrors installed.
