Wow, that should be some significant stopping power! Those pads are huge!

hopefully.

It wasn't bad before on initial bite. I had brembo pad on OEM rotor.

however, it was really scary doing few highway pulls and loosing brake power.

I would have probably be ok with better rotor and better pads on the OEM E90 caliper setup, but when I saw those oem 4 piston for dirt cheap, i said why not.

fun fact, the F30 rotor are 8mm smaller than E90.

Also, probably only be able to bed those pads in April. Snow wont stop here.
And I typically wait for 2 good rain day so the roads clear off sand and salt.

Yep, last day of winter we were headed towards mid 90s here too. Next Sunday I need to swap the VCG on the e91.

issue here , last week it was 58f and 2 days later it was 9f.

This is very bad for the roads, massive potholes.

and city wont stop spreading salt and gravel on the roads.

forecast dont look better, imo I wont be able to get the car out until early to mid april.

Anyway, here the gas is 7.50$/gal cad for 87 oct. So almost 2.00$/L cad.

For 94octane we speak 8.74$/gal , so 2.30$/L

so I bedded the brakes this week.

annndddd, damn it's not that better. Even if the caliper is not a upgrade, I thought the new 2 piece rotor, new bigger hawk 5.0 pad would have make a difference.

Even with stainless brake lines, I dont feel like a safe breaking.

Maybe the master cylinder need to be swapped for a m3?

Need input from expert here.

How do I change the CIC vehicle chassis type that is displayed in the CIC?

I want the E91 showing instead of the E90.

ChatGPT and google give me nothing.

Trying to SG_codiren both FRM and CAS with E91-xxx... instead of E90... in the option list. Did not work.

I dont want to mess with too much stuff, since everything is working .

This guy did it, but not clear how :

When I swapped CCC to CIC in me E91 with whatever coding was required to get it running it "just worked" and showed the E91 silhouette. Didn't have to do anything specific.

this is a good indication.

that means the image is stored probably in the CAS or Kombi.

and not in the CIC or MEDIA.

Because for this swap, I simply swapped everything from the E90 to be sure I wont have issues.

I probably need to change the order vehicle list and sg_codiren the cas and kombi.

But I tried and it wont change the E90 to E91.

See the picture, I think the first option # is the chassis type, and mine still stuck in ""E90""
