Why don't you do a Search for Eonon here a lot of stuff will show up .

all are old threads, nothing for the recent Eonon models.

It won't be that different for the basic functions and how it hooks up .
Most of those units just give you more functions at the expense of fidelity .
Because if they are piggybacking on the existing system they use the Aux to feed
the Audio to the existing system . This is a known choke point for sound quality .

But also the Base and Hi Fi BMW systems are pretty crappy to begin with.

Looks like a generic android tablet-style radio with a trim plate for an e90, which is what most of these things are. Some have at least a few physical controls though. No volume knob is a deal breaker IMO.
Integration wise- they usually come with an interface box to make steering wheel controls function plus all the usual wiring. If you have Logic 7, you'll need a MOST converter, which is not a big deal. You do lose fader functionality though.
