Anyone test drive the e53 amg compared to g60?

Has anyone here cross shopped g60 (550e, 540i, i5 m60) against the new e53 amg ? Is the e53 a better car overall and better drivers car ?

Beware the M256 3.0 I6 engine in the E53 is known for crumbling engine wire harness insulation. In MB product development terminology, this is a feature and not a bug.
