** Please Post Your MY09 E90 Purchase Deals **
From what I could tell, there isn't an all-encompassing thread on what deals people are getting on MY09 E90 purchases. Please list the specs of the car you're ordering/buying and what you've agreed on with your CA for the price (either $x over invoice or $y under MSRP -- hope you're not paying over MSRP!!)
I've started to discuss an '09 e90 335i with my CA but he's quoting at $1000 over invoice. I was at the dealership this past Saturday ~4pm and it was SO SLOW there were four salespeople standing around the showroom, twiddling their thumbs with no one to talk to. Needless to say, I think that the price increases coupled with the state of the US economy is going to result in a very slow launch for the '09 models which will bring down the dealer's asking price. Just to preempt some responses I've seen on other similar threads, I know that '08s were going for $500-$1000 over invoice. I actually got one for $200 over invoice, but unfortunately that car was totaled in an accident a couple months ago. I wish that the accident never happened and I weren't shopping again today, but alas I can't go back in time to prevent the accident and now want to get the best deal I can. Thanks in advance for sharing! |

Hey Will, can you do that deal for me too or is it too late?
To the OP: Will and Long Beach BMW FTW!

Thanks Will, I'll definitely keep that in mind. To be honest, though, Long Beach is a bit out of the way for me for regular service/misc. needs since it's well over an hour away (considering traffic, etc.)

There's no need to take your car to the same dealership for service. Get the best deal you can at purchase time and just take the car where ever when you need it serviced. It's not like the CA and SA are the same person. |

* I took my wife's Mini into the dealership because it came off the boat wonky. They gave me a 328i as a loaner for a week. Driving that is what made me give BMW a serious look (previously, I'd been set on getting an Audi). |
