I can take it.... out the vents as of now sit over the.. where the window washer fluid goes.... on left and... right it sits right in front of my BOV. The engine just gets a little more dirty.. and needs to be cleaned more... thats about it. The scoop sits right over the metal bar/radiator.... if it becomes a problem I can always have them sealed up...

Nice~ I just got some blue burned tips from cyba and I'm looking for a shop to weld them. Which shop did you go to install your exhaust?

I'm going to leave it on. You know how you go for a drive for like 10 mins and if you feel your hood it's like boiling hott?? With this it can be breathe, just picture that. Engine temps lower, more rape on the turbos... mmmm :P Anyways, my car is garaged about 100% when at home, never sees rain much only if I go out and do shit. If rain is a major problem, all you have to do is use painters tape on the bottom of vents and boom, sealed from any major damage. The hood is made well, with a lot of weight savings, so thats pretty good also. If people are really worried you can just have em closed at your local body shop. I'm actually in the market of making vent covers for the V-35, and going to make a few pairs... so yes.

sweet... i was thinking about doing this myself possibly something with magnets in black so you can just place it on the hood, magnets on the other side and it will seal up nicely almost like the refrigerator magnets. should be a cheap fix... let me know what you had in mind for vent seals.
