There are more than a few owners who havent even used LC with trashed gearboxes. If it disintegrates under hard driving then what is the point? I'd buy a proper P car

The GTR is nice. My dream Car. I have a 2008 M3 and i would trade my car anyday for the GTR. I'm a car Aficionado and not a name brand Aficionado. I know everyone has different opinions and you have to respect that, but some of these guys have their heads up their you know what. Stop hating on the GTR. That's a great car and according to the analist, is the best sport car made so far. This car kills 911's and corvettes. M5' and M6's can not even get close to it.(by the way if you did not know an M3 is faster than a M5 due to the weight ratio).So guys for one admire a car for the great skills and performance it has and not for the brand. BMW make great cars but the competition also are making good cars as well.

now here's what i've been thinking. Takign the $$$ and the potential of this car do you think it'll be the #1 thing to steal, esp in NJ?
B5 S4's were popular, and this thing is a beast, i don't know i would be shitting myself driving this around daily, going to malls and stuff...

definetly a beautiful car, no doubt about it, but when i saw my local dealer selling one for 50k over sticker, i thought that was kind of ridiculous especially with these tranny problems. Its supposed to be the cheapest "super" car, yet for that price I rather have porsche GT3 or even a used lambo. Obv the price will go down with time but by then the spec v model will be out.
