ANyone have this noise before?

hey there folks my car makes this wierd noise when i first turn it on. Its very hard to explain however it feels like something gets activated and it something is spinning. The car sounds like a chainsaw

Is this the wastegate rattle? I Just got my car back from a fuel pump replacement and the check engine light is on again!!!ARGHHHHHHHHHHH

When the car heats up it goes away. My car is a manual.

Take it back to the dealer. While mine had no weird noise, I got it back from the dealer after HPFP and wastegates replacement, and check engine light came on on my way home. Went back, got it fixed, left and about 100 miles later IDrive and all entertainment went out. I got the SoS system failure message, and had to make another trip in. Also a service engine soon light was on this time. Another day at the dealer, they found some issue and fixed it. It seems ok now. I posted here in another thread. There was some sort of SIB out for my issue, so just go back, never know. I know how absolutely annoying it is making countless trips to the shop and it seems every time you go, you get a different new problem only a day or two after getting your car back.

sounds like the wastegate issue.... youtube 335 wastegate and watch one of the videos. Just to make sure the problem you have is the wastegate...

thats the throw out bearing then i think, not a big deal but technically a hardship fo most. i would eithr go to the stealer or have a reputable shop swap out the TOB for a new OEM one. good luck

Yeah - I have the same noise... not real loud, but I did notice the noise when parked next to a wall. I haven't taken my car in for its first service yet, when I do I will ask the dealer about it.

I'm not too worried about it as I think it is just clutch 'chatter'. It goes away after a minute or so.
