I know we've all heard it before, but keep it to the track fellas. Sure driving like an ass on the streets may give you a rush, but for what? Endangering the lives of yourself/others to get your rocks off? I don't know, I don't get it.

Dave is a member here, and this unfortunate accident couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. We are very close and it would be appreciated if you please be sensitive about the matter as you do not know any of the circumstances regarding what really happened.

Nikki, I apologize if I came off harsh. The point of my post was not directed at Dave but rather at the asshats that do exhibit reckless speeds and endanger lives.
Actually, I didn't even know it was Dave prior to your post. I can attest that Dave is a real standup guy and he's been helping out the BMW community for much longer than I have. Please wish him the best. |

Best wishes to Dave and the family of the woman who was struck and killed. Things like this make you realize how fragile life can be.

Wow, that's really rough. It's easy to forget that it may be nearly as hard on Dave as it is on the family of the woman. Devastating for all involved.
What does Dave drive?

condolences...
My thoughts and condolences go out to the woman's family before these upcoming holidays.... She probably chose to live in a quiet neighborhood, and this is her fate? - She is leaving behind a husband and 4 kids..
http://www.sentinelandenterprise.com/local/ci_11069366 If this accident is related to the planned "Dyno Day / Fun Run" - it will not paint a pretty picture for people's assumptions..
