Need help with HID upgrade
Hi,
I have installed a new pair of HID H7 in my (obviously) non HID (crapy) headlights. Everything installed correctly, but when i turn them them, they flicker and then go off one by one after a minute or so. Driver side after few seconds. I had a second kit at my expose so i started swapping bulbs, ballasts and same results, just different in time when it shuts off. However, I discovered that when i drive and i turn them on while i am driving, they stay on without a problem. When i come to stop, then start flickering and turning off again. I have to continuously turn them off and on. I tried turning off and on the day time running lights, but no help. My assumptions that it has to do with voltage that is not enough at idle, yet enough at 5+ mph. Did someone experienced a similar issue and perhaps can recommend what to try next? Thank you in advance. |

Hey ballnxb08, i had that issue, but i turn the bulb around for the stick part of the bulb to face exactly down (under the actual bulb), and then it fit in perfectly. Try that.
But i do have issues with this flickering.. anyone know if its electrical? what about BOW_3 warning eliminator that Orient wrote about http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192557 Someone please help. I already have the manufacturer to send me new ballasts. Hope that helps.

I found like to know if it has helped anyone else before i buy this. Can it perhaps just have a resistor in this box? thanks in advance for help
