BT cable detected by dealer?

I am gonna get my car scanned this week from a friend with a Professional type bt cable.

Anyways, i am just gonna read the codes and not delete anything.
Is there anyway the dealer can find out that i actually hooked up and accessed the DMe or anything and try to deny or give me problems?

If you're going to read the codes. Might as well clear the incriminating ones.

Of course if I get any stupid codes there getting erased.

But does hooking the btcable have any chance of beind detected that it was ever hooked up, looked at the dme stored codes?

You can buy one for $279 but it is limited to 3 VINs
