i wouldn't do it red or yellow since it brings attention and they're stock brakes. on my last car, i did black, which i did like. the silver color of the caliper was starting to look old and the black cleaned up the look real well.

this is what i used:

I thought about doing the same last year: paint the calipers, most convince me not to do it. Im happy I didnt.

But if youre into it, its really your car and your taste! who cares
just like to show you a good product to do it with on tirerack

http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/g2/caliper_paint.jsp

hope it helps

Calipers

I did my focus SVT.
I think the color you choose is the major issue- I think bright red or yellow on a 330 would look, well, like you should drive a civic.
Now- if it was BMW factory, that might be different- not sure why, though!
My SVT was silver, and I painted the calipers silver- looked nice, but did not jump out at you, which is what I wanted.
Also really nice because it makes the calipers easy to clean, wax, whatever.
I used folia-tec.

I am thinking about painting them black..... The goal is not to draw attention but to have a better look..... With the amount of brake dust these cars have painting them red, yellow & etc......would make them look even worse once they get dirty.....

I am also thinking about some ceramic brake pads but I need to do some research to see what people think about them in here..... I hate the brake dust that most European cars have.....but that is a different thread :-)

Black might be ok. Just to clean them up. But if your not getting a BBK then leave the colors to them.

Yeah, you guys are right.. I was just thinking about matching the color of the car. I'm going to leave them as is for now.. but may paint them black later. I saw one in black and it looked pretty nice.. not too ricey

I agree, the stock calipers are not nice enough to show off, but with open rims its better to paint them black rather than leaving them rust. Nothing looks crappier then rust behind your rims!

btw... if you guys decide to paint them, make sure to give them a good scrubbing with some brake cleaner.
