Because it is so hard to remove the drain plug???
I would be a little worried about it hanging down lower than the pan and if you hit something in the road it would toast it and dump your oil. It just doesn't seem to fix much of a problem in my book and BMW will probably void your warranty for having it!

I've used one on every car I've owned for 20 years.
Great product. Drain the oil and no wrench needed and no hot oil on you fingers. Won't use one on the 335 because I'll get yearly changes from BMW service. |

Had one on my Subaru and Mazda, worked great!
I'm going to order one for my e92 once my warranty/service is up at 50k.

I have also heard great things about them, gonna put one of each of the daily drivers we have. The bikes and 335 will probably retain their stock drainplugs.

Every time I look at this, the small diameter drain hole always makes me think twice about getting one. I think the larger diameter factory drain should help flush out more stuff especially if the particles are suspended. Thoughts?

It might take a little longer to drain it though. |
