Used JB3

I'm looking in to getting a JB3 and was wanting to know if anybody has had any problems with purchasing used ones? If not, is there any risk of buying a used chip?

There have been a couple on here for sale, just depends (since it is a newer product)

Just make sure you have gen.2 or gen.3 board with the 1.3 final, or one of the 1.4b installed. You can also get a burner and upgrade yourself or find somebody in your area that has one. No problems otherwise!

Sometimes you get the older wiring harness and hardware, and the JB3 warranty is non-transferable. So its best to get a new one if you're "new to the game". Aside from that should be OK as you can update the software on them.
