Horsepower

I was wondering if anyone knows if after a straight pipe if there is a power loss

Drivetrain loss will still occur because mechanical parts transferring energy to move other mechanical parts is not 100% efficient due to friction, and some energy will be lost as heat.

If you mean will straight pipes alone cause a HP loss over the stock setup...I would say no. Removing both cats and the resonator would reduce back-pressure, increasing HP.

If you want to increase horsepower by any marginal amount, you'll need downpipes. A DP back exhaust will save you weight but wont score you more then a few HP.
