if your looking for power and not sound, catless dp's + stock midpipes and exhaust is enough.. car will sound pretty much like stock and give you a good 20-30whp gain, only difference in sound is you can hear your turbo's spool and it's sounds meaner on WOT... the stock exhaust is good enough IMO

Thats the next step after the bastuck.. I figured i spent a fortune here already, try it out like this and see. if not, i'll part out the rears sets, keep the CP-E Catted DP's and throw on the stock exhaust.

Tomorrow i am installed RennArt Resonated midpipes and xpipe. Going to be interesting to see what the sound will be and mostly if the droning i got since the Borla racing pipes istall will disappear.
Have as well AR catless dps and Bastuck quad.

I would also recommend Ae Tubro back because it bolts right up on the e92. I do my own work on my car and I can't weld. Good luck with the drone. I hope catted DP don't change the sound too much because I love it. In DS it is head turning, but when I see a cop back to D and he won't even notice me.

its not all about power. Quicker spool up and instant response, Less heat generated close to the turbos = turbo life just got longer.

Very true. All who might consider emissions can go the catted route without major disadvantages. Much better than stock anyways. It depends on what you like to achieve. I have a daily driver, IMO very reliable and put down 400+bhp/560NM (~ 360whp/365wtq). A powerful car and I don't race. No need for more power, LSD and suspension will be next mods. Go catless, if you like to sqeeze everything out of the engine with stock turbos, injection and coolant / oil cooling systems.
