Want to remove my Sirius Module today...advice on making sure I do it right

Read through this thread, but wanted my own post b/c I might try to do it today.

So from all this, I just need to get a termination loop and the box will come out fine? I don't need to take it to the dealership and do a software update or anything like that?

Also, have 06 330i that came pre-wired for Sirius. Bought the module a few months ago and had it installed by bmw.

that's exactly what i did
unplugged sirius
installed termination loop
taped up everything so i don't get any rattles
no reprogramming or anything
everything works perfetcly
cool thing is when i sell the car
if the buyer wants sirius
he wont need to do anything tricky
just buy the module and plug it in

Just curious but do I need a termination loop considering mine did not originially come with the Sirius module?
