OEM Factory 17's (think style 179??)

WHEEL STYLE IS 188 ... sorry put the wrong style down!!

Had these on my 335d when i got it .. and they been sitting in the garage since i swapped alloys back in april! They are the standard alloys the 335's came with.

Need them shifted now!

Have tyres on - prob about 4mm at the front and 3mm at the rear. Tyres on it are the standard bridgestone runflats

Alloys are in reall good condition though one front alloy has a stone chip on it - can send pics.

Looking for £400 ono

Be a good idea for somebody to mount some winter tyres on these and keep them for these dark months.
saving summer wheels/rubberware from salt/frost damage.

yep.. cracking idea...

To be honest the tyres on there will prob be a lot better then those out there running 19's and save a few quid on winter tyres.

Loved the 19's on mine ... never got near snow though so have no idea how they handles on them, but my 330d on 18's is a pig!

Any idea as to if these can be used on a 330D M Sport?
Looking at fitting some 225/45/17 winters, will these fit?
Sorry, don't know anything about this sort of thing. Can you please post a picture of the style as when googled style 179 only seems to show up under 18" so I can't see design or specs.
Thanks

You list these as 17's but make reference to 19" in thread.....are these 17 or 19"....maybe got wrong end of stick.

Sorry .... was style 188 ... the link above is the wheel, though i can email a pic of my 335d with the wheels on it.

The wheels are def 17's and will fit any E90,E91,E92 or E93.

The tyres that come with it are on that link and are 225/45/17 at the front.

Depending on how many miles you do youll def get this winter out of them as the tyres still have a decent amount of tread n them.

If you want to change the rears to the same profile you can do - the reason the tyres supplied are wider is due to the rears handling all the power.

Cant see it being an issue changing the tyres to match the front.

No they aren't - for the SE spec 335d they are 225/45 17" all round. I have checked and double checked. And triple checked. Same with the E90 335d SE too.
Only the E92 SE comes with fat back tyres.

The M Sport comes with wider 18" rears but not the SE.

If it came with 17" alloys, it's an SE. Mine came with the multispoke 160 style "star" alloys which I really like. Apart trying to keep them clean.

So...

To summarise ... the alloys would happily taker 225/17's on them then

Cool - ta for the knowledge.

Now .. anyone want these off me??
