Summer is here

Notice the clearance between the torque wrench and the panel. It was almost scraping.

Is that alot of brake pad left?

User reviews from Cdn Tire's site says this torque wrench doesn't click but it clicks nice and loud.

How's the wear on my summer tires? After I put them on and went for a drive it seems like the steering wheel has a mind of its own and steers all over the place.

Nice and clean with a coat of wax.

It was hard to align the holes for the front. I need wheel alignment pins.

I noticed my rear right wheel for my winter tire has this long deep scratch that runs along the whole wheel on the inside. Only this wheel not sure what it is. Pics below

"Gutsy move, Maverick!"

I'm a cynical guy at times, and figure that Murphy is just waiting for a few of us to do this before he dumps a foot of weisschieße on the roads.

Re: your RR wheel - looks like a stone got stuck for a bit between the caliper and the wheel. Doesn't look like structural damage. You'll probably also see some kind of ding/scrape/etc... on the caliper body lined up with the scratch where the stone waqs pushed up against.

Those are the peak temps for each day, right - not the average.
Driving those summer RFT at any time of day below 7 degrees could give you sub-standard steering and braking. Be wary, drive carefully.

Tires look fine. Goodyears or am I mistaken?

Check tire pressure as they probably lost a lot over the winter. Also, larger tires tend to tramline more then smaller ones, you're probably not use to them, give it a couple days.

Pshh!

I usually put em on first of April and have no problems. I've done mid March before and it only snowed a bit and never stuck to the ground!

I think it hit 17 degrees here on Saturday.

My E91 arrives in early April (I hope). I think I'll be pretty safe running with the stock tires rather than putting my winters on so late in the season.

I think we've had 2 days of snow this fall/winter and the trees on my block are all pink, feels like it's middle of spring already. Gotta love west coast weather.
