Looking for E90 OEM M-Tech Kit OR Rear Bumper GTA
Looking for an OEM M-Tech Kit (Front, Sides + Rear bumper & Diffusor) for my 07' 335i Sedan (Monaco Blue). Or exchange my OEM rear bumper for your OEM M-Tech bumper +diffusor +/- some $$.
Couple of options that come to mind: 1. Online from US: Cheapest price I have found for OEM M-Tech kit is on Tischer for $1400 + $150 for shipping to US. The hassle of picking up from US AND more importantly the items breaking due to shipping is steering me away from this option. 2. Buying locally (GTA only) by ordering from BMW stealership. The prices in Canada are insane and the dealer fleeces you (eg. Shadowline rear lights at T&C BMW were $500 each side!!!!!!?!!!). No thanks, unless someone has a contact and can hook me up for a competitive price. 3. I'm on the fence of whether to install the front M-Tech front bumper or not. As I want to install the Dinan oil cooler + Intercooler at a later stage and both products cannot fit with the M-Tech bumper. Anyone out there that has installed both these products from Dinan with the M-Tech bumper, do let me know your experience please & thanks! 4. Also willing to exchange my rear OEM bumper for your OEM M-Tech E90 335i Sedan bumper. 5. Question: Best place to get the M-Tech kit painted in the city? Thanks guys, really appreciate your help - newbie on here. Last edited by OSK77; 06-30-2010 at 04:45 PM.. |

Many thanks for the advice, I will def. check.
Couple of questions: I'm assuming you only have the rear M-Tech bumper installed not the side skirts or the front. Can you post some pix of how you car looks just with the rear bumper installed if possible, would be very helpful. Also, how much did you end up paying for getting the bumper painted approx? Thanks! |

You guys can try to get it through Maranello, there is a maxbimmer special at their parts department.
Otherwise, I think someone parted out a M-tech kit awhile ago... and I think they said they a pretty good deal for it.

Hey OSK,
You should see if you can get a special deal with a group by. Sounds like there would be a few people out there interested but currently turned off by the price I am interested in the M-Tech too for the front and rear or maybe just the rear depending on the price I have a 2006 AW 330 |

Hey guys,
I got my M-Tech from a local dealership and the fitment is perfect. OEM is key. Anyway, since there seems to be some interest in this kit I'll go and ask my contact at the dealership for a quote on a few sets (includes front bumper and fogs, rear bumper, diffuser, side skirts).

I just got back from seeing my contact at BMW and received pricing for the OEM M-Tech Aero kit for pre-LCI and LCI models.
PM me only if you are serious! Let me just put it this way...my pricing is cheaper than Tischer :-)

Haha...thanks for the plug Eric. I try to help out whenever and wherever I can. I don't make a cent on anything. When you order the part, you pay BMW directly. All you have to do is tell me you're ready to order and I'll meet you at the dealership. Some things have a larger discount rate than others...but, my parts guy will do his best to accomodate you and try to match or beat any quote from any of the other dealerships and/or Tischer.
I can pretty much quote you on any part BMW has in stock...that goes for the Performance parts too. On that note, anyone interested in the Performance Exhaust? :-)

I'm starting to get a few PM's for pricing. When you send me a PM, please let me know make, model, if you have PDC, washer system and adaptive cruise control. These options will dictate the correct part number and allow me to quote you a more precise price and not just a range.
I can also quote you painting and install. The same guys that painted and installed mine. He's a buddy of mine who has his own body shop with paintbooth and can also do mechanical work...modding...you name it. Thanks.

I too visited Budds today and spoke to the Parts Manager, the quote for a Pre-LCI 2007 E90 335i OEM M-Tech Kit (with >None< of these options: PDC, Active Cruise control, Washer system) was as follows: - The M-Tech Kit itself was $1665 + tax - Parts that go with this kit for installation was another $600 approx + tax So Budds quoted me $2265 + tax for just the parts (!!!?!!!) - Ouch When I asked the installation and painting charges - add another $2335 (!?!) Which means on the road with an installed/painted OEM M-Tech Kit on a 2007 335i Sedan, Budds will charge a whopping $4600 Needless to say, I did not even want to bother asking what price I could get for a group buy if we ordered 3 to 4 kits together, not worth even asking the question at the absolutely horrendous pricing I was quoted. They told me there is no way they can beat US pricing. Chapter officially closed going via my local dealer route. So on to greener pastures, IBGUB9ok - you are da man I'm definitely interested in M-Tech as well as other Performance parts + Dinan parts as well, will PM you now. Couple of things for the benefit of this thread, I think some of the folks were interested in just the M-Tech rear bumper alone keeping the insane prices we have been quoted, so if you can quote a price range just for that, it will help out the guys. Some of us can order the entire kit, where as other guys can order just the rear bumper. My major concern with installing the front M-Tech Bumper on my car is the inability to fit the Dinan Intercooler and Upgraded Oil Cooler, as their website states both items will not fit a M-Tech bumper - which fricken sucks - Unless someone has read a thread about how this can be addressed re: fitment. Thanks again guys, this is becoming a fantastic thread - love the fact that we are all helping each other out. E90post.com rocks |

If we can get a good group buy going, I would be more than happy to pick up the parts if we don't get the bumpers painted through that dealership (in the GTA of course).
We can make this a real group effort! I have an F150 |
