Oh hello.

I got the following lease quote from my dealer and I wanted to see if you all here think I came out alright. See the terms below. I appreciate any advice!

MSRP: $53,400
Selling Price: $47,820

10,000 Miles/year
.0025 Money Factor

not bad; very similar to mine..

money factor SHOULD be .00210; maybe you just made a typo and wrote .00250 instead.

The deal is $500 over invoice after the $1,840 rebate. Did they really mark up my MF though? I will email them back and get it reduced to the base rate if thats the case....

Well yeah if they gave you .00250; because base rate is .00210..that's what it is on my lease and the numbers that were posted up for July

EDIT: you can't be $500 over invoice after the rebate if your sell price is $47,820; that's under invoice..

Invoice on the car is $49,150. Take away the xdrive credit, you are now at $47,310. Add $500 to that, now you are at my selling price.

My question was, though, can I negotiate the MF lower to .00210?

They do seem to be marking up the MF but they also seem to be giving you a higher residual. I thought the res of 10K miles was 62% not 63%.

The dealership said that the numbers just changed on Tuesday (7/20). Perhaps you all haven't seen the changed numbers? I hope I'm getting the base MF rate in this deal.... regardless I feel like 625/month with nothing down is a pretty damn good payment for a car with a 53.5k sticker....

How do you figure no money down? I thought you said 3200 at signing or something like that?

You can't negotiate lower than the base rate; you can do multiple security deposits that will reduce ur MF .00007 for each one you leave. So you're technically getting the car UNDER the invoice; with the rebate which is what I got as well

Yep I approve; my CA called me and told me the residuals went up 1% until the end of August; so now it's 63% for a 10k lease instead of 62%. Brought my payment down to $595

He probably means no cap cost reduction money down; not due at signing fees.

For the $1,840 credit, how is that applied in a lease calculation? Would it be applied towards the cap cost? I'm trying to figure out what monthly payments would be, but can't find this information.

That's an incredible amount of fees due at signing with no cap cost reduction. Unless there are MSD's factored in there, but there can not be because his MF is sky high

It usually works out to be the same, you'd rather have it as a cap cost reduction because then it's like a down payment, but in theory, It really does not matter.

how? tax is probably $2,000; $875 bank fee? that's already $2,875
