Thumbs up BMW Performance 313 Wheels

Hi there I´m new in here. As far as I know, there is no replica of the 313 wheel. But I´m so much afraid that I´m going to buy them more or less tomorrow to put them on my 325i

Sorry man but the wheels look really bad on your car, like they are 17s. Maybe it's the pictures, but I think that the conservative offsets combined with the tire pattern makes the combo look bad. You should try some spacers in all four corners combined with wider running tires.

That is exactly what I don´t like so much on my rims. They are 18", but stay too much in, so I ordered the 313 in 19", which are made in that size from BMW Performance for the 3 series. The tyre size remains 225 on the front and 255 on the back but they are lower and the rear rim channel is 9" instead of 8,5", so I really hope that the combination will look much better

The problem is, it seems to me that the 19" 313 wheels are made with the LCI in mind, so if you have a pre-facelift car they will still look too tucked-in, you will need spacers.

Even on the 335is coupe, the 18" 313s look a bit tucked in even if they are standard. Seems that the LCI coupe track is not wider than the pre-LCI, probably because the rear fender constraints (on the pre-LCI sedan, there was plenty of room inside the rear fender).

Red face 313´s

I had the 18" Oxygin Lexor rims on my 320i E46 and kept them thinking they would fit well on my E90 too. But they never convinced me. I saw the 19" 313 on the BMW Performance catalogue and they really look great, fitting and most of all filling the rear fender properly. BMW mechanics assured me that no spacers were used.
I ordered the 313 19" today and will get them within 10 days more or less, hope less.
I have a 325i facelift (the black one you see on the pics) and hope that I´ve taken the right decision this time.
Sorry one question, being new in here, therefore not confident with the terms, what do you mean with "LCI"

I agree with most of what you are saying except the "wheels look really bad on your car" part.

My main objective was to move to a more comfortable setup and at the same time improve the cornering performance. I replaced my OEM style 159 all season RFTs with this setup. I am so glad I did.

For looks the 18 inch staggered 235/40 on 8.5" and 265/35 on 9.5" are ideal in my opinion. But since I wanted to achieve more neutral steering and allow me to extend the tire life through rotation I went with a square 8.5inch with 245/40/18 tires setup. The Conti Extreme Contact DW have the comfort and better tire wear I was looking for along with great wet and dry traction but they look kinda boring. And lastly since Alufelgen is not making the SF71s in 18s I went with the OEM 313s. These are the compromises I made.

Honestly the car looks pretty damn good in person and it definitely looks better than the style 159 17s. The 313s are a really nice wheel on this car car and do make it more aggressive looking compared to the 159s. I could add spacers and drop the car to improve the look, but I really have to move my budget elsewhere. My wife wasn't very happy with the 2400 bones I dropped on this setup to begin with.

The best replica is the Miro Type 942 and looks gorgeous on the E90s and E92s!

"LCI" equals Life Cycle Impulse.

It's a term used by BMW to designate the facelifted models for the mid-year changes.

Thumbs up

Hi and thank you very much for your explanations concerning the LCI.

Many thanks for your offer as well, but I ordered the 313s here in Italy already, givin back my Oxygin Lexors wheels.

I saw the Miro wheels and agree with you that they are very good looking on the E 90, but I prefer to get the BMW Performance wheels

Thank you very much again for your kindness and help

Why would Miro put the "BMW Performance" label on the wheel? My OEM 18 313s don't even say have the label on them. Or are these OEM 19s?
