Summer is almost over and I was just wondering if there will be any meets before its ends

We've had a few mini-meets for oil changes/module reprogramming/point-and-shoot photoshoots and such. Nothing special, just a handful of fellow enthusiasts with small little projects for their babies.

There's a rather large gathering every first Thursday of every month at the Varsity parking lot where you'll find every type of car, from rice to hot-rod to exotic.

I wouldn't mind grabbing a spot at the Varsity this upcoming meet (September 2nd) if other Bimmer enthusiasts show up.

Sep 2 is my birthday and I'd rather not spend it at the Varsity. I went to one of those meets last year and vowed to never go again.

Whenever you guys are in Atlanta in the evenings and want to meet up, let me know. I'm usually free after 5pm.

Yeah, the Varsity meet is not what I expected... Unless you like 300Cs on 22" wheels with 2,000 watts going to subwoofers

There were 2 Carreras there and a 16 year old driving a GT-R, that was all worth seeing (and the 1980 super lifted truck with camouflage accents lol)

I am definitely down to have a meet sometime soon. Why don't we all get together for this Petit Lemans race at Road Atlanta and cheer BMW on?

I don't blame you Nivedh, although the only time I went I saw a few interesting things (some clean Hondas with B/K series swaps, lots of German cars etc)... oh, and Happy Birthday man!

That would be the best thing to do. I've spoken about it with Steve Calbert... but unfortunately I'll be out of town that weekend. If you guys wind up going, have fun and take some pics!

Well there's also Caffeine and Octane on the first Sunday of every month and I almost always do that. I see quite a few BMWs there, but mostly E60/63s from M5board. If we do a meet for the Petit LeMans I am so there.

We could arrange something. Bimmerforums does a weekly dinner GTG for the older member crowd.

My E30 is still in California, but my brother is driving it down to Atlanta soon for me.

I've been slacking at meets, especially since I sold the 335, but I'm still strong in the Euro scene.

My MKVI Golf TDI already has C/O's, quad exhausts, ECU flash, and some other goodies.

Just wanted to make sure, but September 5th is the first sunday of September (with Labor day being that 6th). Is it the 6th because of that?

You guys just want to meet there or meet some where and then caravan up to the meet? I'm up for anything. If we meet at the C&O, we should get there early, so that way we can park next to eachother if possible.

That's what I thought too, but the Peachtree BMWCCA's website said it was the 6th, but they've been wrong before. I'll try getting a hold of the C&O guys to see what they say... I'll post back as soon as I get an answer.

I'm also up for meeting ahead of time if the rest of you guys are, but yes, we NEED to get there early.

WHAT, the parking lot to the right its SMALL, it is like a overflow lot when the big one it pack. and the big lot is usually pack by 8:15
