Anyone in DC area to install my Sport Springs?
I am buying either Eibach springs or H&R Springs (which would you get?) for my 335i sedan and just wondering if there are any techs in the area that could put them on for cheaper than the dealer would ask. I used to work at Acura and had a tech put Eibachs on my TSX for $40...

PM Ase2dais, he has a contact in Springfield with reasonable rates ($250 I think) but not $40 reasonable though-that's a steal. Please let us know if you have $40 hook ups for us

I just got H&R yesterday and love them so far. The stock sport shocks seem to handle them fine and they are nicely firm and controlled.

Some would argue that the eibach rides softer and is more suitable for our ill maintained roadways...not sure, I know most of the folks here have the H&R springs (but most folks are in sunny california).

So go with Eibach huh? I personally liked the ride in my TSX w/ Eibachs.

I guess I have another question then....Should I even get the pro kit put on if I have the sport suspension. I assumed it would be a noticeable drop, but it sounds like that's not necessarily true (other threads). What do you think? SHould I go with the Sport kit?

Yes, if you revisit the many threads (unfortunately they are H&R biased), a difference in ride height is easily realized even coming from a ZSP equipped car. If you're after the aesthetics, I'd say go for it.

When I have the choice between Eibach Prokit and H&R Sport, I chose Eibach. I am sure H&R is a great product but I prefer Eibach. Unfortunately, Eibach doesn't have an application for my E91 so I have the H&R ready for when I get the car.

Even over hard bumps and ruts, Ive noticed no appreciable loss of comfort over stock ZSP. But the car certainly rebounds faster and seems tighter overall.

zomg, all you need is a spring compressor, pretty simply DIY! My friend has one, if you want to come down to Fairfax. Price: FREE. If you're interested, let me know, I'll ask my friend.

My family lives in Ellicott City, and theat's where I grew up. I can usually be found cousing trouble around the Laurel area now though, since that is where my GF lives.
