Hahaha. Duramaxes haul man. My buddy has one, we have had it at the drag strip running high 13's with a simple chip and a few other MINOR tweaks... ~$1500

They are wicked fast.

Modded trucks outnumber fast cars here by far. I don't get it myself but to each their own.

They all have great power but can't stop worth a shit.

Jacked up F350's, D3500's & Duramax's are the soccer mom's ride of choice.

It's a giggle watching a 5'4" mom back a jacked up 4 door dually truck out of a stall...

A buddy has a '99 Dodge diesel with a tune, lifted 6", and 38's. He could scratch 3rd. I don't mean a "err". You could feel the tires spin.

Handling and speed. Which is why 99% of races involve cars, not trucks. Cars have better handling, and they weigh a few thousand pounds less. Fast trucks look stupid and most can only go straight line.

and if you're drag racing it....why's it matter how it handles?

99% of races also doesn't involve old saturns, but people still drag 'em. who cares as to why? A fast/car is a fast vehicle, period. The hows and whys really don't matter

not my cup of tea, but I don't know how you can be even remotely surprised, or have any reaction to it....

Yes, I did post a video of a drag race, but as you can tell from my previous post I was not talking about drag racing. You asked why get a fast car, so here is my answer. I got a fast car because I can drag race it if I want, and race it on a track. Also, because to me, if you have a fast automobile that cant handle corners it is pointless. Im just not into trying to make trucks fast, thats all.
