which exhaust? and should it be single or dual side??

I'm looking for an exhaust system for my 07 328i. I love the sound of the 335i exhaust as well as the ones found on G35/37. I think these sound awesome, loud enough and not over-bearing! I haven't heard anything other than stock 328i exhausts (not even BMW PE).

Also, can someone tell me if there is any benefit of having dual sided exhaust setup instead of the single sided exhaust that the 328 comes with? Or is it simply visual?

MMW CS muffler. talk to craven328.

go single sided. duals look nice, but arent worth the extra money. too much of a pain.

MMW CS looks great, sounds great, and has a solid gain. best bang for the buck hands down.

+1 on the mmw cs muffler. very similar sound to the bmw pe but for a fraction of the cost . get a res delete while you're at it and you're good to go

That's if he wanted a raspy, loud, and overbearing exhaust system. I would suggest he delete the secondary cats and put in a magnaflow muffler/resonator in the midpipe with the MMW muffler. This would have the best power gains and sound as well I feel.

The MMW CS is only loud when you have Headers involved, with a regular catback its very smooth

Maybe I'm just used to how loud my Eisenhaus Meisterchaft or fake Eisenmann Race exhaust with the SR pipes is. I have a resonator and I still find it a pretty loud exhaust inside. There is definitely a decent amount of drone with it.

So..MMW muffler with the res delete seems to be the way to go. So should I just get a shop to cut out the res and replace that section or should I get them to replace the whole y-pipe?

We need an updated video clip of the mmw cs muffler with and without resonator. A good high quality video will convince alot more of us to get that muffler. A good video would be just the exhaust with or without the resonator. No afe or injen intake installed since that will over power the sound of the muffler. Thanks!!!

My only problem with Craven's video is that it had his headers on which made it much louder. So if someone out there could make a video/sound clip that just has the muffler (res delete or not) you will help a lot!
