Free extra Options

While waiting like an expectant new father ( only a few days now!), just wondering how many of you have received your new car and had options either added by mistake (that you did not order) or had options not put on the car?

Maybe I should add a poll (if I new how )

Not heard much on the subject. I would have thought that the quality control would have been good so as not to make errors

I do recall reading a thread about some americans who did not rec logic 7 though.

This was not the thread I was reading, but has some chap with the same issue.http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=logic

No options added and no options missed on mine. I think that their quality control is quite rigorous.

What about a poll option for: car turned up as spec'd?

It was a company car from a lease company (Arval PHH)

I knew it was the wrong spec before they unloaded it, but it looked so lovely that I kept quiet.

Then I got worried - so I bottled it and phoned PHH.

Turned out that they had ordered the SE, but BMW had got the details wrong and built an msport.

Unfortunately, BMW had billed for the sport and PHH were charging for it as well.

I was offered the chance to keep it and pay the extra. I made the wrong decision and said no.

So I got to keep the car free of charge until BMW made a replacement. Unfortunately, BMW can make cars really quickly when they have to. The new one turned up within 2 months.

Problem was .. all my colleagues commented on how smart the car looked, then said it was a shame I wasn't keeping it.

When I got the SE they all said the sport looked better.

SE was more comfy though. The e46 coupe msport suspension was VERY hard.
