CANbus access in the N54
Can we list all the communication the CANbus can access in our car?
How many CAN Transceivers and CAN Controllers does the PROcede have access too? Can the Canbus read steering angle and brake pedal force? So far from what I know, the CANbus network can access: -Ignition advance -Knock status -Throttle angle -Throttle position -RPM -Boost -DME boost target -O2 voltage -Road speed -Coolant -Oil temp

The best way to get a list of PiDs (Parameter IDs) supported by BMW and the MSD80/81 that I have found is to look at the BT product. It can pull data from a very large list of available logging values from either CAN or KLine.
This will give you a bit more insight as to what may be available to you.... |
