In NYC , when you are stopped, and the officer comes up to you and asks you for your papers , always be polite, make no statements of any violation you believe you might have committed, then hand over your license and the PBA card together, at this point you will know if you will be given a break or not.
If you are stopped by a Highway Officer in NYC, you have to remember that they have a camera in their car and are wearing a microphone, if make statements that you committed a violation, you might receive a summons, just give him your papers, card and if you didn't give him/her a problem , you might get a break.
Always remember, that a PBA or FOP card is not a pass to drive reckless, if the officer believes that you readily deserve the summons , you will get it .
