FUNKY E90 Tricks!
Hi everyone, I know this is an old topic in the US forum but I was reading the posts over the weekend and tried out a few suggestions and it was so funny and it worked!
1. I can start the car without the use of the key fob! Try it, put it in first time round, press START then kill the car, take fob out and then press START again! Presto! engine starts and you can take the keys with ya as you leave the missus in the drivers seat! (ha! Thats what my bf suggested!!) 2. You can (I call it 'Winky Winky') flash your headlights from left to right like its winking at ya! It was cool as, we did it at a party last weekend and everyone was facinated! This is the same way you can park your car with one side of the parking lights on, so say youre parking on a busy street and cars can see where u parallel parked your car! Let see if any of us Aussies can think of anything else the US guys havent thought of yet!

I'm surprised that non-aussies can be bothered to read threads in the aussie post!!! How much time do people have on their hands to read (and comment on!) the numerous threads in the main section, as well as all the international threads???
Personally, despite it being a repost, I don't mind seeing "new" stuff in this thread as I don't have the time to trawl through all the threads, maybe others do and want to enlighten the aussies of interesting stuff they've found. Lea (and any aussies), feel free to contribute anything which might be interesting to fellow aussies.

hahhha! OK, when engine's off, key fob out, flick your indicator stick up and down. ! Presto! Its a WInky WInky!
You can parallel park like this too on a busy road, and leave the road side lights on, but not for hours on end. Ive been advised 2hrs max or you'll be calling RACV! Funny though, with my car, even though you are using the indicator stick, its the lowbeams and taillight that come on and not the indicators! But have a try! Good Party trick for night time.... or we could invent some morse code for BMW's!

Hey E90's..... is there a quick mute button to use if you had to turn the music down quickly for some reason?

why not just press the volume button? One press and it's off! One press and it's back on again! Simple.
