Also, based on the Hamann diffuser I could also shorten the 335 diffuser(s) to just wrap the exhaust openings - that could look a bit better, rather than having it span the length as the non-335 would have to...

I like those layouts. So are we looking at 6 months down the road to start production on a diffuser? I want to know prices and when this can get going.

Yeah - 6 months is probably realistic. I'm going to push to get it done quicker than that though. So far pre-LCI, single cutout seems to be winning the priority race, so I'll look into that one first.
As soon as the m-tech diffuser is completed I'll be registering as a vendor and then will discuss pricing on both - that should be relatively soon - within the next few weeks... |

+1 The third one is nice, but I have a 330i Can someone do the same for a 330 with single exhaust to see how it looks? Thanks |

I think its a good idea
But just seems a bit to long of course only because we are use to seeing oem diffuser. I would be interested In the diffuser for a single exhaust cut out But what if you was able to make a diffuser that would make the rear of a 330/328 look like a 335 instead of the slot being so big and fitting two tips make the diffuser so it can over one tip and with a custom exhaust run it to the other side with another tip so it would look like a 335 instead of the quad set up I feel like quad set up Is to far apart on non-335

As for the final product, the prevailing priority at the moment is for the singe opening non-335, so unless that changes soon it's more than likely the case that I'll do that first... |

I think the tips aren't exactly the right size, but it should give a bit of an idea |

Depending on pricing, I'd be interested in one for a non-335, single cut-out.

Im sorry just dont l just dont like how its a bubble around the exhasust. Looks goofy. I think there should be a small round lip around the outside and the line following the oem bumper looks good. And then add the option of 3 fins between the duals.

Like I say my photoshop skills aren't wonderful - I didn't mean for the lip to be that big. I spent a bit more time - how's this one? This is probably closer to what I had in mind anyway. I'd definitely follow the lines of the OEM bumper and just create the lip along it's lines. Agreed - that perhaps the fins would only look good on a dual (as in 335 standard) or quad (either 335 or dual 330 and down) setup... For now the prevailing appetite is for pre-LCI, non-335, single cut-out, no fins... Last edited by irq5; 03-09-2011 at 02:40 PM.. |

I thought of that but I reckon it would be a bit too high in this case. I thought that if I hit the crease nicely then it should look ok - any higher would probably cause a bit of problems trying to get the rounded edge shape as well as the kink in the bumper right...

I can have it come down lower than the bumper a bit and include a horizontal slot like this one does if people reckon it's a good idea... |
