Last summer I knew a buddy of mine who worked at the same country club as me and he whipped a e46 330ci zhp he went to ICS performance and met up with the guy to install/purchase a custom exhaust kit. He said they did a real clean job. There in stamford give them a try.

I see you are on West side of the state, but you might want to give Josh a call here. He's meticulous and fair.

I went with a friend to ICS once and found the salesman/owner extremely pushy.. not only that but they work on a lot of their cars outside in the elements. I guess "the Shop" in norwalk is ok but ive never been there. IF you want the absolute best you need to go to Akuma motorsports in NJ. Or in New Rochelle NY there is a place called Proformance Industries. Thats where i will be getting my new HRE's installed.

Oh my...where do I begin. Got acid on every single panel of my car that ate through the paint, then shunted responsibility because he sent it out while it was in his hands...Had his tuner do a band-aid tune on my car that ultimately led to it needing a rebuild less than 2500 miles after it got a fully built motor, and handed me a fake dyno sheet to try and appease me (was a sheet from a different car), charged for installs of parts that were never installed, things that were installed dangerously or grossly incorrectly, used one of my cars as a parts car instead of doing the work that he was supposed to do on it...and when I wanted him to put it all back together so that I could sell it, instead of manning up and saying that he sold the parts off my car, he put parts that belonged to a friend of mine on my car, without his permission..."lost" thousands of dollars worth of my parts, which took the threat of legal action to get back.

And that's just a few highlights from my personal experience. I have friends who have had much worse. I witnessed all sorts of things...putting O2 sims in a grand marquis that had a cat code (highly illegal), using customer cars as his daily drivers (the nice ones), as parts getters (the not so nice ones), using customer cars to participate in street races and grudge races (oftentimes races against his brother, who owns TheShop, and is no better) without their knowledge or consent, then charging them if something broke. Those are just some highlights. Oh, and mind you, any time I say anything negative about him, his brother (owner of TheShop...and mind you, they are bitter enemies), or their dad, who did 16 years in prison in the largest cocaine bust in CT history (he was actually arrested at Imported Cars of Stamford, AKA ICS Performance) in a public area, or if it in some way stories I relate to others find their way back to either of them(without my name ever being mentioned), my phone blows up with phone calls and texts from whichever party has been butthurt by the oh so searing pain of...the truth.

Wow.. what a horror story.
