HELP NEEDED!!! Transmission Problem???

Hi everyone,
I'm driving 2007 328xi coupe, about to hit 60K miles. (auto shift)
about 2 weeks ago, it starts to jolt a lot when the RPM is between 1.5 and 2.
And it goes smoothly when the RPM is above 2.
It does it on any gears.
It almost feels like that you are shifting too early in manual shifting cars.

Does anybody have the same problem??
Any Suggestions or advise??
Thanks in advance!!

If this A/T were an ZF unit I would say that it sounds like a mechtronic sleeve leak/seep which has dropped enough fluid to cause this shift problem. You could always re-set the adapations and see how that turns out.

I have the same issue on my 328xi

Hey eternicx, did you ever make any headway on that issue? Mine does the same exact thing, and the dealership has no clue what it is. If you know, feel free to email me directly (e92cca@yahoo.com) Thanks!!

Torque Convertor sliping, GM5 speed auto in E46 is a very common problem.
Change the ATF fliud, update to latest TCU software and if there is no change...be ready with 2-3k for repairing transmission...
