800 # - In Transit (was 'At Port Awaiting A Shipping Vessel' until yesterday)

I'm thinking it's in transit to the dealership and my CA is off today.

Any of my shipmates (Western Highway) got updates?

My CA told me on Monday that my car would be leaving the Prep Center today (Wednesday) and arrive in Minneapolis on Friday-Saturday, or maybe Monday.

I think his CA just wants to be safe. Remember, once the car is unloaded, it has to go to VPC first and may take a couple of days there. And from there will go to the dealership.

Ok between the time I posted the above and THIS, my CA sent me an email saying, "Your car is on 5/28 boat. We should get the car by June 10th". That's it!? No ship name, carrier name, nothin. Anyone know what ship left on 5/28? Is there only one? Thanks!

I dont know whats going on anymore. Its not worth caring about but I will share this. I was told my car was loaded on 4/28 and coming in on 5/24. Now I'm told its coming in two days earlier, 5/26. Yes, doesnt make sense unless im effectively being told that i was on the 5/28 boat. There is one of those, left Germany on 5/4. If i got on the 5/4 boat my car was chilling in die deutscheland for 17 days. also its a WWL boat and i get no shipping data when i put in the VIN. Perhaps the only thing to takeaway from this post is that there is a 5/28 boat. Have you checked your VIN on WWL's site?

Well I finally got some good news about my car. It made it onto the Freedom and should be at the PC on the 26th! So they'll only have 2 weeks to Ferris Bueller it around before I get it Finally some progress!!!!

Just heard from my CA that my car is at the stealership and will be ready for pick up by Friday evening. Will probably pick her up on Saturday morning!

Ohh SNAP! No way. I just entered my VIN into the Cargo ID field and it came up with this:

LOADED ON VESSEL PORT HUENEME, CA 05/05/2007 09:00
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL PORT HUENEME, CA 02/05/2007 09:00
BOOKED PORT HUENEME, CA 01/05/2007 10:00

Ummm... in Europe they use the day then month. So it was received on May 02, 2007.

They have no idea how much more at peace people are when then know where the ship is. Mine is due at the Panama Canal at around 11:00am PST this morning (Friday)...
