Nitrous + Propane System, 50-75 HP boost

Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

In the 70's I injected nitrous and propane into my carb'ed porsche 914. Worked great, 2nd gear burnouts. Was great because the propane is like 112 octane, both are very cold, would only use 50-75 HP shots, no need to tie into the fuel system. Soulnd like a great system for the 328's N52 engines. The most I can find and remember is to use 2:1 propane/nitrous ratio.

I wouldn't use propane, it will damage the spark plugs.

I've never heard of that. Where is this a problem?

That makes no sense propane has less emissions as gasoline. As well it is a clean burning fuel. It MIGHT cause issues with CATs, however that is unlikely because it is considered a clean fuel source.

Clean burning means it is going to leave less carbon build-up and contaminate your engine less in general.

I know some have successfully ran a 75 shot of nitrous through their N52. Idk about nitrous and propane though.....

I've run nitrous on another car. Expect to spend close to $2k if you can't install it yourself. The safety features cost significantly more than the actual nitrous kit. Sucks. Would not do it again on anything short of a dedicated race car. It was fun though.
